Little library honors Clinton 12
Clinton Middle College and Career Academy is paying homage to the Clinton 12 with a free lending library. The school, built on the site of the Clinton High School that was bombed in 1958, is continuing its tradition of honoring the 12 Black high school students who desegregated the first public high school in the South. Amanda Powers secured the materials for the lending library and the school’s art teacher, Graham Richardson, constructed the box.
