Habitat taking applications for two Roane County housing opportunities
Clinch River Habitat for Humanity is choosing two families for its housing program in Roane County.
Open Enrollment starts March 1.
Due to COVID-19 the orientation is online only. If you can answer “yes” to these questions, then Clinch River Habitat for Humanity is the organization for you.
• Have you been a resident of Anderson or Roane County for a minimum of 12 months?
• Is your current housing inadequate and/or are the conditions substandard?
• Do you have a steady, reliable source of income? Can you pay a mortgage along with other monthly expenses (including long term debt)?
• Are you willing to partner with Clinch River by putting in 400 hours of sweat equity?
The Orientation Video will run from March 1 through March 21.
The properties for this build are in Roane County.
Anderson County residents can apply, but they must be willing to relocate to Roane County.
