Clinton Middle School girls win first district golf title

Clinton Middle School’s girls golf team won the school’s first district tournament in the sport, while the boys team was runner-up in district play.

Gracie Williams had the lowest score of all, with a 54.

Hunter Ray had the lowest of the boys, with 46.

Coach Graham Richardson kept his statement on the win short and sweet.

“I’m very proud of the players and the outcome of the tournament,” he said. “We’re looking forward to regionals now.”
