OR Community Band to perform live July 4
The Oak Ridge Community Band is inviting Clinton residents to include its free July 4 Independence Day concert on their calendars.
The band plans to return to a traditional, live, in-person concert at 7:30 p.m., followed by the Oak Ridge city fireworks display.
The show will be at A.K. Bissell Park behind the Oak Ridge Civic Center at 1403 Oak Ridge Turnpike.
The Oak Ridge Community Band is directed by Shaun Salem. All concerts are free, but in lieu of admission charges, the band accepts donations to help defrayexpenses.
The public is encouraged to check the Oak Ridge Community Band website at orcb.org for the 2021 performance schedule and other information including the opportunity to donate via PayPal.

Rehearsals for the July 4 concert will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 27, at First Baptist Church, 1101 Oak Ridge Turnpike, Oak Ridge.
