DAR hosts Tennessee 225th anniversary event at Clinton Library
Members of Clinch Bend Chapter, National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution, read books about Tennessee to Clinton Public Library visitors on June 1 in honor of Tennessee’s 225th birthday. The chapter also donated the children’s book, “The American Revolution from A-Z” by Laura Crawford and illustrated by Judith Hierstein, to the library. American flags; red, white and blue pencils; and mini cupcakes with little Tennessee flag decorations were given out, also.
