Tennova opens medical clinic in Clinton

Knoxville-based Tennova Healthcare has opened its Tennova Primary Care Clinton location two doors down from and in the same building as Buddy’s Bar-b-q at 2200 N. Charles G. Seivers Blvd.
The clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and is staffed by Dr. Emily Lynch, D.O., and Kimberly Campbell, a nurse practitioner. Also working in the clinic is receptionist Tonya Douglas.
Campbell said the facility is a primary care clinic offering same-day appointments, but it is not an urgent-care center. It does have an X-ray machine, and is now looking to hire a radiologic technologist.
The clinic officially opened June 14, she said.
While Campbell works there full time, Dr. Lynch is there only part of the week, splitting her time with a similar clinic in LaFollette.
Tennova Primary Care Clinton sees patients of all ages, from babies to seniors on Medicare, Campbell said.
Dr. Lynch offers care for all ages, including abies and younger children, while Campbell said she takes patients age 6 and up.
The clinic is closely affiliated with Tennova’s LaFollette Medical Center and hospital, but also refers patients to Tennova’s North Knoxville Medical Center in Powell, Campbell said.
