I want to thank journalist Ken Leinart for his American Legion Post 112 article in the June 30 Courier.
I started reading then opened to continue and saw that huge section but I read on with the most interest I’ve had in a long time.
I can relate to the pressure of trying to raise funds with so many limitations in place.
Having been active in Masonic organizations as a Job’s Daughter in the 60s, Eastern Star and DeMolay in the 90s and 2000s, the need for donations is paramount.
I have not taken the Courier for long and have lived in Clinton only six years so I’m not as aware of the county’s history and current events as most of residents who were born and raised here.
Thank you to this group of dedicated Vets who work so hard to change perceptions and increase awareness of their needs and community activities.
