Clinton High’s Hollifield and Patton take part in National Youth Leadership Forum: Medicine
This summer, Bailey Hollifield and Josh Patton of Clinton joined outstanding high school students from across the nation to take part in a unique academic- and career-oriented development experience, the National Youth Leadership Forum Medicine, which took place at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Raleigh.
NYLF Medicine is one of the Envision by WorldStrides family of programs (envisionexperience.com) enabling students to explore their interests and experience learning beyond the classroom.
Hollifield was nominated to attend the NYLF Medicine program.
She is a junior at Clinton High School and is a member of the Dancing Dragons.
She is also a member of HOSA. She dreams of becoming a nurse and is thankful for the experience the forum provided.
Patton was also nominated to attend the NYLF Medicine program.
He is a member of the National Honor Society at Clinton High School and will be a senior this year. He is also a member of HOSA.
With a goal of becoming a pediatrician or physical therapist, he received hands-on medical experience before he begins college next year.
At NYLF Medicine, students build the confidence and skills needed to excel at college and in the workplace.
They learn how to adapt to, and communicate, in new situations, to new challenges, and with new people, which, given how rapidly the world is changing due to technology and innovation, are essential skills for success.
