Clinton Lions Club celebrated its 80th birthday a year late due to COVID, but held a celebration nonetheless at the Museum of Appalachia Saturday, Aug. 14.

Two Lions were honored with Quilts of Valor for their service in the military.

PID Thomas H. Matney was the keynote speaker at the Clinton Lions Club 80th Anniversary dinner Saturday night.

Saturday night’s event was more social than business as old friends caught up with one another following a year of lockdown.
