COVID numbers cause Trout Unlimited cancellations
The Board of Directors of the Clinch River Chapter of Trout Unlimited has canceled the Women on the Water event scheduled for Sept. 11 at Miller Island on the Clinch River.
This action was taken due to the increasing COVID-19 positive test results and hospitalizations, the organization said.
The club said it was necessary to cancel the event for the safety and wellbeing of participants, volunteers and their family members.
The chapter has also canceled the Sept. 9 monthly meeting at the pavilion at Norris Dam State Park.
