Fisher takes second place at Hendersonville
Anderson County High School sophomore Kaitlyn Fisher took second place in the Saturday Light Fever cross-country race in Hendersonville.
She finished with a time of 19:41.50, against some of the top runners in the state. The course is where the state meet will be held later in the month.
Auldyn Plant of the University School of Nashville won first place with a time of 19:12.70. As a team, the Lady Mavs took third place among 10 teams in the “Silver Varsity” competition. Columbia Academy took first place.

Battleground Academy senior Trace Alexander won first place in the boys’ competition with a time of 15:42.60.
The top finisher for the Mavericks was junior Connor Chandler with a time of 19:21.50.
