Dragons earn post-season honors
Football season might be over for the Clinton Dragons, but nearly 20 Dragons won awards or were named to All-Region teams.
Starting with awards, Junior Barrett Maddox won Punter of the Year for Region 3-5A. Maddox took over the punting duties during the Powell game, and averaged nearly 34 yards per punt. He had two punts stop inside the 20, and he hit one punt 53 yards.

Moody was a huge part of the Dragons’ season, including holding the nation’s leading rusher, Deshawn Bishop, to 86 yards and one touchdown in Clinton’s 50-7 win over Karns.
