The Clinton Lady Dragons earned a hard-fought win over the visiting Fulton Lady Falcons Tuesday (Feb. 1) by a score of 48-46.

After two consecutive high-energy games, the Lady Dragons saw the drama disappear early in a 64-26 loss at Powell on Monday (Feb. 7).

“It’s tough to play here [at Powell],” said Alicia Phillips, head coach of the Lady Dragons.

“They have a really great ball team.”

On Tuesday (Feb. 1), Clinton beat visiting Fulton by a score of 60-55.

Perhaps still basking in the emotional win over Oak Ridge on Friday night, the Dragons were upset at Powell by a score of 65-62 on Monday, Feb. 7.

“You can’t win ball games missing seven or eight free throws and nine or 10 shots around the rim,” said Chris Lockard, head coach of the Dragons.
