Senators track runs in Maryville meet

The track team from Norris Middle School participated in the Maryville Middle School meet last Thursday.

Cameron Hardy of Norris won the boys 1,600-meter run.

In the boys 100-meter dash, Hudson Jamerson of Maryville Middle won with a time of 12.59. Joseph Hall of Norris was fifth with a time of 12.82, and teammate Brian Hall was seventh with a time of 12.85.

In the boys 200-meter dash, Ryker Ames of Jefferson Middle was first with a time of 25.07. Joseph Hall was third with a time of 26.14.

Marcus Cole of Alcoa won the boys 400-meter dash with a time of 57.59. Brian Hall was third with a time of 59.22.

In the boys 800-meter run, Nolan Bassett of Ft. Loudoun Middle won with a time of 2:19.76. Cameron Hardy of Norris finished with a time of 2:36.67.

In the boys high jump, Xavier Harper of Robertsville Middle won with a jump of 5-06.00. Brian Hall of Norris was sixth with a jump of 4-10. 00. Toby Day of Norris finished with a jump of 4-02.00.

Tayshawn Rice of Maryville Middle won the boys long jump with a distance of 16-11.50. Joseph Hall of Norris was third with a distance of 16-03.25.

In the girls 100-meter dash, Evaiya Mitchell of Robertsville Middle won with a time of 13.26. Mariss Valero of Norris was eighth with a time of 14.28, while teammate Bralee Hall finished with a time of 14.60.

In the girls 200-meter dash, Mitchell won with a time of 28.18. Valero finished with a time of 31.83.

Kacey Holliday of Alcoa Middle School won the girls 1,600-meter run with a time of 5:43.41. Ava Moody of Norris was third with a time of 6:00.35.

Maryville Middle won the girls 4x100-meter relay with a time of 54.62. Norris was fifth with a time of 1:00.34.

Amaijah Bishop of Jefferson Middle won the girls high jump with a height of 4-06.00. Bralee Hall of Norris was fifth with a jump of 4-02.00.

In the girls long jump, Maddie Burgin of Maryville Middle won with a distance of 14-01.00.

Sydney Day of Norris was seventh with a jump of 12-06.00.
