There’s a hidden gem in Anderson County, offering rest, relaxation and beautiful views. There are only three campgrounds located in our great county and the Loyston Point Campground is one. This past Easter weekend, the managers, Richie and Ginger Farr, and friendly staff held an Easter egg hunt for the registered campers’ children. More than 400 eggs were hidden and 25 children participated by age group. The Farrs said they will be doing this event again next year for registered campers. And it was a blessing to do this for the children at the campground. The children hunted eggs, then got to have cookies, cupcakes and a drink, and received a free t-shirt. One boy and one girl from each age group with the most eggs received a gift. The golden egg winners received one free ice cream from the camp’s general store.
