Clinton youth baseball is back.

The organization Clinton Baseball Inc. is now featuring games at Clinton’s Jaycee Park for children ages 4 to 14.

There are four leagues, one in each of these age groups: 4-6, 7-8, 9-10, and 11-14.

A full day of youth baseball was on tap last Saturday for the leagues, and there were plenty of players and spectators on hand. Most of the spectators were parents, siblings and friends of the players.

What was clear was that everyone was having a good time playing and watching kids learn and play the great all-American sport of baseball – on a beautiful, sunny spring day.

There was also a long list of tasty menu items available at the concessions stand at the ballfields, including fresh-grilled hamburgers, fried bologna sandwiches, doughnut bites, popcorn, nachos and, of course, cold drinks.
