Anderson County’s Lady Mavs took an 8-5 win from visiting Grace Christian Academy last week. The Lady Mavs got a solid start from senior Reece Simpson for the win. Monday night, the Lady Mavs hosted Karns and lost 3-2 in a game featuring solid pitching and defense. Both games were non-district contests. The Lady Mavs were scheduled to play at Union County Tuesday night and set to begin district tournament play next Monday.
