Mavs ‘got game’
The Blue Team edged the Silver Team 28-21 last Saturday night during Anderson County High School’s annual spring intrasquad football game at Mavericks Stadium. Running back Gavin Noe rushed for 135 yards on 10 carries, while quarterback Walker Martinez completed 20 of 28 passes for 308 yards. Jermaine Allen led the receivers with two touchdown catches. Defensively, Nick Moog and Eli Davis were the top tacklers with eight each. Andrew Meier made seven stops.
