Shooting Hunger funds donated

Representatives from Tennessee Farm Bureau, Tennessee Farmers Cooperative, and Farm Credit Mid-America/Rural First donated a total of $2,700 to Second Harvest Food Bank to provide backpack meals for hungry kids in Anderson County. Funds were raised through Shooting Hunger sporting clays shoots. Since 2015, Shooting Hunger events have provided more than two million meals to hungry Tennesseans. In addition to the $2,700, Anderson County Farm Bureau directors added $500. This donation will provide backpack meals for 32 children for a year. For more information, visit shootinghunger.com.
