Neal Vaughan honored

NEAL VAUGHAN
At a recent meeting of the Clinton Lions Club, past district governor and Clinton Lion Neal Vaughan was presented two awards in recognition of his service not only to the Clinton community but to the goal of Lions to serve wherever necessary.

Vaughan exemplifies the motto of Lions, “We Serve,” by his actions on a daily basis. You may find him interviewing a person in need of eyeglasses, taking someone for an eye checkup, screening students for eye conditions at the various city or county schools, selling nuts for a Lions fundraiser, working tirelessly for the East TN Lions Eye Bank, selling burgers and dogs at the Anderson County Fair or at the downtown spring and fall antique festivals, or doing any number of other things to support our community.

These awards, Service from the Heart, and Heart of a Lion, were well deserved and speak highly of his dedication to service to our community
