JACOB PREWITT

Multi-talented Dragons are making an impact

Jacob Prewitt is a new Dragon in football terms. He’s also a major player on the school soccer team. Prewitt says family is why he enjoys being a Dragon.

“Being a Dragon means following in my family’s footsteps and representing Clinton and the high school with Pride,” he said.

Prewitt is the team’s kicker, and in his first game experience he went perfect against Christian Academy of Knoxville, and averaged nearly 45 yards per kickoff.

“Coach Keith has a great attitude towards the game,” Prewitt said, reflecting on how Coach Keith has impacted him adding, “He pushes you to do your best and also respects you.”

Prewitt has never kicked before, and has grown with the help of his Soccer coach, and team kicking coach, Gene Chunn. “I want to help the team as much as I can and to improve my skills to the best of my ability.”

Jacob says the teachers, and coaches, all support and make him feel more like a family than just a member of the team.

Prewitt wants to be remembered as not only dependable, but also someone willing to help and support other sports too.

“To future generations find your place/passion and work hard and do your best weather a sport or the fine arts. Represent CHS with pride.”
