CALEB COOK
Returning to the Dragon’s lair
Caleb Cook has overcome some obstacles during his four years as a Dragon, including missing his sophomore year due to a leg injury.
He made a huge comeback last season, shedding weight and breaking through the line to lead the team in sacks.
This year, Cook has moved to the linebacker position and changed his number from 74 to 52.
Cook says being a Dragon means “Good times” to him.

When asked what some of the biggest changes were since he joined the football team, Cook said, “I think we are all a lot closer than we were.”
Cook really looks up to Head Coach Darell Keith. “It is wild, he’s taken me on trips that I would not have gotten to go on without him. He has also shown me some cool videos about Batman and Darth Vader.”
Along with winning a championship, Cook says his biggest goal this season is just to have fun and “Play the best I can.”
Cook says he’s looking forward to “Going to the playoffs and then after the season is over, celebrating with Pizza Inn with Coach (Josh) Paris. Also, celebrating with more Darth Vader and Batman movies with Coach Keith.”
