The CHS Dragons are back
This week was the season starter for the Dragons! Starting off game day, Clinton High School hosted a pep rally. Sports teams were introduced, while cheer, dance, and band performed for the student body. These pep rallies help to engage students, and keep up school spirit throughout the school.
Later that day, the Dragon Walk took place. Athletes walked from Clinton High School to the stadium, putting on a parade for the community. That night the Dragons took home a win against William Blount High School 48-0.
Teegan Bollinger, WBIR’s Play of the Week recipient, says “It was an unforgettable play for sure, you don’t see many of those. It was a great team win Friday night, we executed on both sides of the ball.”
The Dragons are ready to be back and looking forward to a great season.
