Meigs County woman charged with setting Norris fire

A Meigs County woman has been charged with aggravated arson and vandalism in connection with a Feb. 11 fire in Norris.

After an investigation, Tiffany Pearl Extine, 32, of Decatur, was arrested Feb. 19 and charged and booked into the Anderson County Detention Facility.

On Feb. 11, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation agents joined the Norris Police Department and the 7th Judicial District Crime Task Force in investigating a fire that occurred that day at a rehabilitation clinic located at 17 Ridgeway Road in Norris.

According to the company website, the clinic is called JourneyPure Norris, which provides substance-abuse treatment services.
