Norris spring cleanup planned for April 17-21
Norris has set its citywide spring cleanup effort for April 17-21.
This event allows residents to place unwanted items not suitable for regular garbage pickup on the curb for special collection.
According to the city, trash crews “will pick up objects at curbside that are not too heavy for two men to handle.”
There are some items considered too dangerous or potentially polluting to be picked up routinely, however.
Items that are not eligible for pickup include tires, paint, solvents, unused cleaning supplies, freezers, refrigerators, large appliances, building materials, and anything containing asbestos.
