Our United States mapped out for students

The government advanced placement students along with the golf team from Anderson County High School spent their last day of Easter break providing geography exposure for the students at Andersonville Elementary School. Government teacher and golf coach Patrick Leverton worked alongside his class to ensure the project went flawlessly. “I am very proud of my students and players; they worked hard and did a great job today,” said Leverton. The eight-by-10-foot map is located next to the new play structure on Andersonville’s playground. It features each of the 50 United States in a vibrant display. Special mention goes to these dedicated students: Gavin Drake, John Barker, Kaden Chadwell, Haley Braden, Cassie Brown, Grant Jennings, Josie Mcrae, Kendall Null, Lucas Prewitt, Malon Haverkamp, Sydney May, Lucas Prewitt, Karlotta Schley, Caroline Spurling, Maclean Spurling, Justin Wiseman, Craig Patterson and Dakota Williams.
