Lake City Middle School has launched a community involvement club with its Lakers Leadership Council. The council was formed with help of guidance counselor Frank Newcomb and Principal Kelvin McCullom. The council consists of 10 eighth-graders. Their first leadership council visit was to Summit View of Rocky Top.
