Intermediate fly-tying class to be held in January

The Clinch River Chapter of Trout Unlimited will be holding its intermediate fly-tying class beginning in January at the Norris Community Center, 20 Chestnut Drive.

The class will start Saturday, Jan. 13, and end on March 2.

Each class will start at 9 a.m. and end at noon.

This is an eight-week, intermediate-skill-level class, and most participants will already have their vise and tools, as well as the most commonly used threads.

The Clinch River Chapter of Trout Unlimited will provide some threads that are not the norm.

The cost of the class is $135 per person.

Participants are recommended to arrive at class by 8:30 am to get their stations set up and be ready to start at 9 a.m.

This class is limited to 12 participants.
