Oak Ridge wins 68-52 at Sevier County

In its final game before Christmas, the Oak Ridge High School boys basketball team made a road trip to Sevier County and defeated the Smoky Bears 68-52 on Tuesday, Dec. 19.

Post player Cooper Williams had 21 points to lead the Wildcats (11-3), who had a 38-19 advantage at halftime.

Brennen Scott had 10 points, and Garrett Giles added nine for the Wildcats, who snapped a two-game losing streak with the win against Sevier County.

Oak Ridge returned to action Tuesday in the Arby’s Classic, one of the top tournaments in Tennessee, in Bristol on Tuesday.

Tournament play continues through Saturday.
