Dragons’ challenges continue

Clinton’s Carter Nelson scored nine points in the Dragons’ game against Wayne County.
In their final game in the Bluegrass State, the Dragons came up on the short end of a 53-46 decision against McCreary Central Friday.
The Dragons scored just nine points before halftime and managed only one point in the second quarter. But they outscored McCreary Central 37-25 after the break.
Jeremiah Lee recorded 19 points, five rebounds, two assists, and two steals to lead Clinton (4-9). Lebron Booker had 13 points in the Dragons’ tournament finale.
On Thursday, Clinton lost to Wayne County 58-46.
Lee had 13 points. Carter Nelson and Teegan Bolinger scored nine each, and Jacob Dooley finished with seven.
The Dragons opened tournament play with a 56-35 loss to Western Hills.
Lee and Bryson Maddox scored eight points each, while Booker finished with six.
