Football CAREacter Stars named
Area football players from Anderson County, Clinton and Oak Ridge high schools were named Careacter Star athletes.
The CAREacter Star Athlete Program is based on a five-point star system that includes the basic traits of a true champion, whether on or off the field.
Those traits are attitude, character, grades, community service and performance.
The Anderson County High School players included:
Eli Nelson, Nick Moog, XavianJames, Israel Small, Trent Strickland, Landon Engle, Daylen Cole, Josh Valero, Tyller Murphy and Cody Miller.
Players from Clinton High School included:
Joshuah Keith, D’Mon Marable, Rhett Seivers, Eric Page, Konner Riggs, Bo Wright, Chauncey Felts, Deameion Leavell, Garrett Lee and Andrew McAmis.
Oak Ridge High School players awarded were:
Brandon Heyward, Almani Rembert, Pryce Davis, Hayden MicKodaj, Layne MicKodaj, Junior Adams, De’Jauvis Dozier, Bryce Dorsey, Canaan Hixson, Eluah Bradley and Vashawn Nalls.
