Senators season ends despite outhitting Bulldogs
Norris Middle School saw its 2024 baseball season come to a close on Friday with an 11-6 loss to Cumberland Gap in the state sectionals Friday at Wartburg Cental.
The Senators out hit the Bulldogs, 8-7, but they committed six errors.
Reese Young went 2-for-5 with a double and three runs scored, while Conner Dabney doubled, scored and drove in a run. Levi Skeen also drove in a run and scored.
Will Goehring had a pair of hits and an RBI and Aiden Walker doubled and drove in a run for the Generals, who finished the 2024 campaign with a 20-4 record after getting off to an 18-0 start.
