CHS, ACHS students receive more than $18.5 million in scholarship offers
Students at Clinton High School and Anderson County High School received awards, honors and scholarships at ceremonies this month before graduation.
ACHS students received more than $10.5 million in scholarships at the Anderson County High School Awards Night Tuesday,
May 7.
CHS students, meanwhile received $7.5 million in scholarships during a ceremony on Tuesday, May 14. The scholarships came from many organizations and individuals.
While Oak Ridge High School students also received scholarships, the school did not hold an event for them and did not keep track of the individual scholarships or the total monetary amount.
“This is a very special night recognizing all of these special individuals who’ve spent the last four years at Anderson County
High School,” Principal Ben Downs said at his school’s ceremony.
