The Kentucky Future Stars won two of the three games. Tennessee’s sixth graders edged Kentucky, 14-12. Kentucky notched a 14-12 victory in the seventh grade game. Kentucky scored 20 unanswered points en route to earning a 40-18 win.

Five Norris Middle School football players competed in the games.

Wide receiver Nash Pope, a seventh grader at Norris, also made the trip to Kentucky for the annual border all-star game.

The Senators also had a pair of sixth graders on the roster for the annual game, which pits the top players from Tennessee and Kentucky against each other.

Defensive back Steven Blakney and linebacker Skyler Whitson will also suit up for the Tennessee All-Star Team.
