The 135th Anderson County Fair opened Monday night with near-record attendance. The Fairest of the Fair pageant was part of the opening festivities. Pageant winners were: Junior Fairest of the Fair, Brooke Madison Halford; Pre-Teen Fairest of the Fair, Hadley Kate Webb; Fairest of the Fair, Autumn Brooke Hill; and Fair Princess Fairest of the Fair, Adeline Elizabeth Queener.
