A large number of senior citizens gathered July 17 for Senior Day at the Anderson County Fair.

As usual, Clinton auctioneer Bear Stephenson led the event, which included his jokes, a raffle, live music and many contests for hats, jig-dancing, hog-calling, oldest man, oldest woman, knobbiest knees, longest-married couple, shortest-married couple and most children. Various officials and candidates attended.

“I think it went great” Stephenson said.

Ice cream was served.
