Blankenship takes over Brogdon
Carl Blankenship is taking over Brogdon Roofing, replacing his predecessor David Brogdon as manager and foreman.
Blankenship has worked at the company for 35 years and took over in March when Brogdon retired. The company does both commercial and residential roofing.
“I wish David was back,” he said. “I got to work on the jobsite, but now I’ve got to go out and sell the job. I don’t get to be on the jobsite any more.”
Still, he said the company will keep the same name and service with no changes.
“I’m proud of Brogdon Roofing,” he said. “The employees have been here for years. We all get along. We all know each other. Everything is going good. Smooth transition.”
