Anderson County holiday classic will showcase middle school hoops
The holiday season brings the return of the Anderson County High School annual middle school basketball tournament.
The 2024 Anderson County Middle School Christmas tournament will feature boys and girls teams from Norris, LaFollette, Huntsville, and Oneida, along with top teams from the Knox County Middle School Basketball Conference, including Bearden, Halls, Powell, and Holston.
The tournament is set for Dec. 27-28, with a break on Dec. 29 before concluding on Dec. 30.

Girls games
Thursday, Dec. 27
• Bearden vs. Huntsville at 10 a.m.
• LaFollette vs. Halls at 12:30 p.m.
• Powell vs. Oneida at 3 p.m.
• Norris vs. Holston at 5:30 p.m.
Boys games
Thursday, Dec. 27
• Bearden vs. Huntsville at 11:15 a.m.
• LaFollette vs. Halls at 1:45 p.m.
• Powell vs. Oneida at 3 p.m.
• Norris vs. Holston at 6:45 p.m.
