Wildcats cruise past Rossview in Franklin
The Oak Ridge High School boys basketball team returned to action Friday night in Middle Tennessee, shaking off a tough loss to earn a decisive victory.
The Wildcats (9-2) cruised past Rossview 87-61 at Centennial High School in Franklin.
Garrett Giles led the way with 22 points, while Cooper Williams added 18 points and Shamar Greene chipped in 10.
The win came after a heartbreaking 69-67 loss to Alcoa in the championship game of the Hammers Hardwood Classic.
The Tornadoes’ Eli Graf sank a buzzer-beater to secure the victory over Oak Ridge.
Oak Ridge looks to carry the momentum into its upcoming matchups as the season progresses.
