Dawson completes Clinton coaching staff for 2025

Clinton High School’s new head football coach, Jake Dawson, has finalized his coaching staff for the 2025 season.

He recently announced his staff members:

• Dustin Peels, offensive coordinator

• Bret Oliver, defensive coordinator

• Robert Atkinson, tight-ends coach

• Jay Blakely, offensive-line coach

• Tyler Byrd, cornerbacks/slots coach

• Don Colquitt, wide- receivers coach

• Jason Leinart, running-backs coach

• Josh Parris, defensive-line coach

• Cody Sexton, offensive-line coach

• Austin Sherwood, linebackers coach

• Tracy Sims, linebackers coach

Dawson’s hiring marks a new chapter for Clinton’s football program.
