Anderson County Republican Party to hold biennial reorganization meeting in March
The Anderson County Republican Party’s executive committee has voted to hold its biennial reorganization meeting to elect new officers on Thursday, March 27, at 7 p.m.
The meeting will take place at the regular meeting location, the Clinton Church of God Fellowship Hall, 635 Hillcrest St.
Republicans wishing to participate must meet certain qualifications and pre-register.
Registration and additional information are available through the following methods:
• Email the Contest and Credentials Committee at acgopcc@proton.me with name, address, phone number and email address.
• Call or text 865-712-8027.
• Use the QR code available on the party’s website at actngop.com.
Anyone interested in running for chairman must submit their name, address, phone number and email address, along with a statement notifying the Contest and Credentials Committee of their intent to be placed on the candidate list.
Deadline for submissions is no later than 7 p.m. March 20, seven days before the meeting.
Candidates for vice chair, secretary, treasurer and vice treasurer will be nominated from the floor at the meeting.
The vice chair must be of the opposite sex from the chair.
