Plummer fans 15 as Norris stays perfect

Norris Middle School’s softball team kept its perfect record intact last week.

The Lady Senators (9-0) defeated Kingston 10-4 Thursday night, jumping out to an early lead and never looking back.

Norris scored four runs in the bottom of the first inning, added three more in the second, and tacked on three in the third.

Alice Ogan went 2-for-2 with a triple, three RBIs and two runs scored. Rilynn Benson was 2-for-3 with three RBIs and two runs scored. Loreli Heath singled, scored and drove in a run.

Kinza Plummer pitched a complete game, going six innings and allowing four runs (one earned) on seven hits and one walk. She racked up 15 strikeouts in the win.
