Scarboro parade June 7
The Scarboro Community Alumni Association plans a parade and other activities on June 6-7
The events will start at 6 p.m. Friday, June 6 with the Scholarship Awards banquet at Calhoun’s Event Center 100 Melton Lake Peninsula.
Next will be the parade, which will go through Oak Ridge’s historic Scarboro Community. It will start at Gray Strange Baseball Field at 15 Wilberforce Ave, then make a loop turning left on Benedict Avenue and right on Dillard Avenue before heading back on Wilberforce.
Following that will be various community events from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., mostly at and near the Scarboro Community Center.
