Chambers to be new Clinton Middle principal

“With [more than] 19 years of distinguished service in education — most recently at Anderson County High School — Mr. Chambers brings a wealth of experience, a strong dedication to student achievement, and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive school culture,” an Anderson County Schools news release stated.
“A proud product of Clinton City Schools, Clinton Middle School, and Clinton High School, Mr. Chambers is excited to return to his roots and serve the community that shaped his educational journey,” the release said.
Chambers earned his bachelor’s degree in history and geography from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in 2004.
He continued his professional preparation at Lincoln Memorial University, where he completed both a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction and an education specialist (Ed.S.) degree in administration and leadership.
“Beginning his career in education in 2006, Mr. Chambers quickly developed a passion for student engagement and academic excellence,” the release stated.
His professional experience spans multiple roles, including history teacher, advanced-placement coordinator, golf coach, and assistant principal, all of which have equipped him with the insights and leadership skills necessary for this new role, the release said.
“As principal of Clinton Middle School, Mr. Chambers looks forward to building on the school’s strong foundation by collaborating with faculty, staff, families, and the broader community,” the release stated.
“His leadership will emphasize academic success, student leadership development, and a school environment where every learner is valued, supported, and challenged to excel.”
Outside of his professional life, Chambers is married to Ashley Chambers, and together they have two sons.
The Chambers family is active in OneLife Church in Powell, where they regularly serve.
In his free time, Chambers enjoys spending time at the lake, playing music at church, and golfing.
