Sponsored by Yee-Haw Brewing Company, the event will feature several performers, with Texas-native Jake Worthington serving as the main act.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., and Worthington is scheduled to sing beginning at 7 p.m. The event runs until 8:30 p.m.
All performances will take place on the museum’s outdoor stage behind the administration/gift shop building.
Yee-Haw Brewing will be on hand with beer for adult guests 21 and over with proper identification, and there will be food and other beverages available for sale throughout the evening on the museum grounds.
The show and associated events are open to all ages, the museum said.
People are requested to bring their own chairs to watch the concert from the grass in front of the stage, but no coolers or outside food/beverages will be allowed. No animals are allowed except service animals.
Tickets are $25 per person age 13 or older, and are available to purchase online at the museum’s website, museumofappalachia.org/fullmoonpickinparties/. There is a service fee of $1.50 per online ticket purchased.
The Museum of Appalachia is on Andersonville Highway in Norris, about two miles east of Interstate 75 Exit 122 in Clinton.
