The Clinton High School girls capped their preseason on a high note last week.

The Lady Dragons, guided by first-year head coach Sylvain David, notched a 5-2 victory over Fulton on Tuesday, Aug. 12, at Clinton.

Topanga Easterday recorded a hat trick for the Lady Dragons, who are coming off their best season in recent memory.

Clinton qualified for the Region 2-AA Tournament for the first time in school history.

Shae York and Riley Sharp also found the back of the net for Clinton, which opens the 2025 campaign with a District 4-AA match against the Scott Lady Highlanders in Huntsville on Thursday, Aug. 21. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
