Covenant Life Church plans annual car show

Checking out a 1931 Model A Ford roadster during last October’s collector car show at Covenant Life Church in Norris are Clerden Williams of Rocky Top, George Buchan of Newnan, Georgia, and Carl Williams of Clinton. The show returns for 2025 on Oct. 4.
The church’s show organizers are now asking for prospective exhibitors to sign up their vehicles for the event, with a $20 donation requested for each entry.
More than 100 vehicles were on display in last year’s event, which was staged around the big church building along Andersonville Highway just east of Norris Freeway.
Last year’s show featured classics such as a 1931 Ford Model A, 1955 pink Cadillac sedan and a 1969 Miami Vice edition Ferrari sports car, along with many more.
John DePew of Clinton brought the classic Ferrari to the show, a Daytona 365 GTS model that he said he’s owned for the past five years.
Visitors can expect to see vintage, classic, and future classic vehicles in front of and on both sides of the church.
Free lunch is provided at the show, and admission to the event is free for spectators.
Rain date for the show will be Saturday, Oct. 18.
