Jaycee Park Pool closed, indoor pool still open
The city of Clinton’s outdoor pool at Jaycee Park closed for the year on Labor Day, after a shorter re-opened season.
The city’s indoor pool, however, the Paul Mikeal Aquatic Center, remains open and will still be on its summer hours through the end of November. It will still be open under different hours from December through March.
Through the end of November, water exercises are from 8:30 a.m. until 9:15 a.m., and 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Lap swim hours are 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Family swim hours are from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday.
Weather, swim meets, and private clubs, however can interfere with these hours.
