October Library Events

• Storytime will be weekly on Wednesdays at 10 a.m. featuring themed stories, songs and a matching craft for pre-kindergarten through early elementary school. Younger and older siblings are also welcome. The theme Oct. 15 is autumn, Oct. 22 will be cats and Oct. 29 will be Halloween.



• Book Babies will be Thursdays at 10 a.m. featuring weekly themed stories and songs for ages birth to two. Oct. 16 will be autumn, Oct. 23 will be cats, and Oct. 30 will be Halloween.



• Music and Movment will be on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. Shake it and make some noise!



All ages

• Computer Class will be at noon on Oct. 24 featuring a tour through basic smart phone navigation.



• Lego Club, with Legos available for building, will be on Thursdays at 4 p.m.



Family

• The Let’s Talk About It Family Game Show will be at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday Oct. 22.

It’s a game show for families about how well you know each other.

Prizes will go to the winners.

Teens

• Teen space will be on Wednesdays at 2:15 p.m. a time to hang out with friends, play Nintendo Wii games, eat snacks and have a good time.



Adults

• Adult Crafty Fridays will be at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 17.



• Tai Chi for Arthritis will be at 9 a.m. on Monday Oct. 27



• Clinch River Needleworkers will be Tuesdays at 1 p.m. and Saturdays at 10 a.m. The group meets in the program room for a few hours and is open to new members who enjoy sewing, crocheting or knitting.



Tennessee History Program

• Tennessee History Program meets Mondays at 10 a.m. The group moves county by county for local Tennessee history.
