Job, Bishop lead Lady Wildcats before region run

The event was hosted by Oak Ridge.
The Lady Wildcats shined on their home course, placing four runners inside the Top 10.
Dylan Job led the way, finishing second overall with a time of 19 minutes, 35.30 seconds. Amaijah Bishop followed in third place (20:31.20). Kenda Hurt claimed seventh place (20:48.10), Brooke Roessner finished eighth (20:51.60) and Natalie Adams came in 11th (21:08.00).
In the boys’ race, Oak Ridge turned in a balanced team effort with four finishers in the Top 15.
The Wildcats were led by the individual race winner, who clocked in at 16:22.20. Rhett Hovater finished eighth (17:21.60), Julien Kelley was 13th (17:41.90), Evan Biewer took 15th (17:49.70) and Ben Greear followed in 16th (18:01.80).
The Wildcats now set their sights on the region as they look to carry their late-season momentum into postseason competition.
